Typically comes in three flavors— idiot teenager still at the Mansion, neck deep in Brotherhood drama (20's), and crawled out from the wreckage (30's). If I don't know the preference, I go by context. Fairly comic-familiar and I gap fill with it, so while he is a spin-off of the XMCU, can be adapted to comics if that's of interest. The Deadpool & Wolverine cameo is not mine, but loved it. Def felt like a possible spinoff of him.

Not at all a fan of X3, I'll acknowledge if you make me. Hit me up if you want to hammer out a specific canon.

Backtagging Go for it. I get busy.

Fourthwalling If they can canonically do that, a la Deadpool.

Physical Contact You can try, he's typically prickly with strangers and easygoing with friends. He always finds hugs weird.

Mental Contact He has no defenses against it, though he'll likely be super not thrilled.

Fighting/Killing Ask for killing, okay with fighting. Leans heavy on pyrokinesis and had combat training with the Brotherhood, sometimes lets him get the drop on people. He's not a honed killer swinging from the rafters like a lot of his colleagues are.

Flirting/Sex Sure, he'll probably be flattered. 18+ only for sex, exceptions for age appropriate fade to black.

Shipping He tends toward women & femme, though open to exceptions that happen organically. Teen crush on Rogue that isn't expected to be reciprocal, had a short-lived infatuation with Mystique. Ex-besties only with Bobby, one-sided and John/Rogue/Bobby is fine.

powers Pyrokinetic its purest definition. An Alpha-level mutant who has the psionic ability to manipulate flame, cannot create fire himself, however, and consequently carries sources. Can induce semi-solid forms as animate flame beings. These creations are not alive and do not think or act on their own. The degree of Pyro's stamina and concentration necessary to manipulate a flame is directly proportional to the size and heat intensity.
Though immune to flame which he is manipulating, Pyro can be harmed by any other fire. Must be able to see a flame in order to take control of it (limiting him to approximately 100 yards). With the focus on control, not production, he can generally control other mutants' normal flames, or at least compete for control. As described in the X-novels, he has a subtle form of "heat vision" that allows him to detect the potential for fire (a wire about to melt, etc.).
